He grew up in Staten Island, New York and began his career in public service as a lifeguard while attending Westfield State University in Massachusetts, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice.

Mark started his law enforcement journey as a State Trooper with the Maine State Police before advancing to a federal position as a Special Agent Criminal Investigator with the U.S. Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS). Throughout his distinguished career, he conducted complex investigations and upheld the highest standards of service and integrity.

Following his retirement from law enforcement, Mark settled in Florida with his wife, where he enjoys an active lifestyle that includes golfing, swimming, and biking.
